Each spouse is responsible for the spouse`s own indebtedness before the celebration of his marriage, unless expressly provided for in this Convention to deal with the indebtedness of the other spouse. Each spouse is individually responsible for his or her own indebtedness after the date of separation, unless otherwise agreed by the parties in this Agreement. Each spouse must settle his debts in a timely manner, in accordance with the conditions of the creditor concerned.
